How do I Enrol?
We operate bookings on a simple ‘first come first served’ basis with only six students per group. You can either enquire on our enquiries page and we will email you an enrolment form or even easier go to the enrolment page complete the enrolment form and email back to us at belinda@makeartistsandco.com.au You can also post the enrolment form to Makeup Artists & Co, 112 Williamstown Rd Kingsville. Following purchase enrolment you will be contacted by a member of Makeup Artists & Co.
Q:Do I need to do an accredited course?
A:Makeup Artistry is all about skill!
An accredited course in an expensive unnecessary as you are learning an artistic skills. There is no need to spend an excessive amount of money on a training course to gain the appropriate knowledge. At all employment interviews you will be asked to show your skill in a makeup application. You will also be asked for a portfolio that expresses your skills. Clients and creative agencies who are hiring a makeup artist will look at your portfolio of work, past experience, appearance and professionalism. As we say at Makeup Artists & Co its all about the skill, not the product or the certificate!
Our studio has only small class and all courses are practical based.
Q: If I am sick and therefore miss a day, do I still get a certificate?
A: Full attendance is required to receive a certificate. Any unforeseen mitigating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The award of a certificate is solely at the discretion of Makeup Artists & Co.
Q: Can I buy products while I'm there? Do I get discount?
A: Yes, we provide a student discount of 20% on all products, you'll receive an ongoing 20% discount throughout your career as a makeup artist.
Q: What do I need to bring to the course?
A: All materials are provided for you but you may wish to bring a notepad and camera to record your progress. We list notes throughout our course on our facebook page Makeup Artists & Co. Professional organic skincare is provided throughout the course. If students have any skin sensitivity please notify us at commencement of course.
Q: What is the maximum number of people per class?
A: Each course hosts up to 6 attendees, which is two trainers.
Q: Do I need to bring a model?
A: No, students are given plenty of time to work on each other.
Q:Do I need to know hair?
A:Yes, the two go together. If you wish to work for an agency in editorial / advertising or television, this is very important. A makeup artist is rarely booked if they have no hairstyling experience. They need to know the general basics of hair styling and up styling.

A: You will be taught by Belinda Markham and Rachael Nicholas.
